Hit my Spokane river spot, about a mile upstream of upriver dam. Got there about 8pm, fished till 10pm. Water was calm and air temp was warm. Started off with a new spinner bait i bought at walmart. Within 10 casts I landed this fish ! I was very happy. Not the hog I was hoping for, but a good 2 lb's . Fished with the spinner for another 30 mins and nothing, switched to a chart. popper and got a 12" squaw fish. Got to dark to see , but I found out what I wanted, that my rod and reel was working properly for my outing tmrw at Newman Lake.
Fun time for 2 hours of fishing, all fish went back unharmed.

I hope you know that from upriver dam to the idaho border is selective gear rules. no bait and single barbless hooks. Don't get caught out there. it's about a $110 ticket.

how do you know he didn't crimp the barb on his walmart spinnerbait ?? Just saying ,,,, maybe he did =) . If he did! That would make his spinnerbait legal to fish with in selective rules waters. wouldn't it ?

"Only unscented artificial flies or lures with one single-point barbless hook are allowed"

Bucketmouth is right, you people need to just enjoy fishing reports, Im getting sick of defending myself on here, I know the rules where ever i fish. I did not use live bait, or treble hooks, I always catch and release and If every fisherman was like me the world would be a better place. SO keep your negative comments to yourself .

Ill just stop posting fi the jerks cant keep things to themselves.

Boy, I'm sure glad I didn't mention all the worms i used on my treble hooks, oh well, they didn't work anyways, that's why i went to a scented dynamite . Worked great, I used my flotation device to gather the fish after my crawfish scented dynamite went to work.
Caught 917 Fish, 17 were used as bait , 200 were used as fertilizer for my garden , and the rest will be food, mmmm I love the taste of polluted meat !

PS: Sarcastic post

If you want to avoid the negative reports as you call them, perhaps you could mention that you fished legally to avoid them all together? Like if you popped the barb on the spinnerbait or replaced the trebles on the topwater it would only take a second to type. Just a suggestion and these persons are only trying to be helpful as their may be others reading who are more interested and watching a bit more closely.

I think it is awesome that fellow fisherman take the time to keep people out of trouble and help avoid big fines! $110.00 will buy a lot of Wal Mart spinner baits and poppers! LOL!

Hey man I was just trying to help ya out.....that is all. I even wished you good luck on your next fishing trip. You really think I was trying to be negative?????? I will NEVER take stabs at people on here, but if you don't want negative comments on your "ify" post then don't post anything at all!!

Let's figure it's the heat and move on. BTW, Aaron did change the coding so that the guy that posts the fishing report has the ability to delete any comments that are posted in reference to hi/her report. We did that to allow the person the ability to delete offensive posts without contacting us. Not to say any of the above was necessarily offensive, just a reminder. It's the green "delete" text to the right of each comment.
