If your not catching fish on the Puy something is seriously wrong. The only way to to get more hook ups is to drop a line inside a hatchery. Tons of fish and TONS of people. Please be considerate of the fisherman next to you. There is no need to be the one person standing 10ft in front of everyone else. All this does is ruin the drift of everyone up from you. As long as you are tossing your gear in the water, you WILL catch fish. If you are not familiar with river fishing, watch more experienced people for a few minutes and follow thier lead. This gives everyone a better chance of hooking up and most importantly, having a good time. See ya all on the water and don't forget to pack the rain gear.

I have fished next to the guy who feels the need to wade out as far as he can, I guess so the fish can go behind him and to mess up the hole for every one else, there is no need for this we have to work together so all can enjoy the sport.
