Hi folks, humpy fishing has been great. I saw a 5 pound coho caught last week, and heard about a 10 pounder caught the other morning before I got there, but other then that all pinks, and lots of them. Friday was finally my day, had already kept 3 nice shiny pinks and was hoping for a silver before my wife and daughter came to pick me up. They arrived to get me and thought I would pick up my forth real quick. Boy did I, within 5 minutes one was hooked, it ran up river quite a ways and then tore past me down river even farther. After a long and fun fight I got it to shore, turned out to be that silver I had been waiting for all day. After weighing it I was proud to say, I finished off my limit with a 13 pound silver. After that excitement I finished off the day by going to Monroe speedway and flying down the track in a 57 chevy that does a quarter mile in less then 6 seconds!!!! What an excellent Friday!!!

What a great day! I would love to know where on the river you fished if you are willing. I have intended on fishing the Stilli this pink season but have yet to get there spending the last several weekends on the salt. I usually fish the Stilli at the Sylvana Bridge and see all the cars parked just east of the I-5 overpass on my way to work during the week but was curious where you had such great luck. Thanks in advance. If you would rather not say, I understand and also welcome a PM. Thanks again and thanks for the report.

Was at Stilly this past Sunday from 7:30AM to noon, and b/t the 4 of us, we landed 12 pinks! Lost 5-6. Use mostly Dick Nite spoons - size 1 hot pink & frog colors. Current was pretty fast due to heavy rain Saturday night, so I used 1 oz slinkies instead of usual 1/2 oz weights. And a 3-4 feet leader. Once we squeezes into our honey hole (lots more anglers there compared to weekdays), we were getting bites almost every other cast!

Planning to go again this coming Thurday. Pinks run should be good for another week before winding down.

Still looking forward to catching my 1st silver - hopefully, within next 1-3 weeks.
