Went to the Stilly today, fished for about 3 hours and had a great time, caught and released 10 pinks. Lots of pinks are still in the river however most of them are turning very rapidly and only good for smoking now. I did however catch a couple females that looked very fresh. Caught a silver about a week ago and they are showing up in the river slowly but surely, jumping all over the place.

Yeah, most of the male pinks are looking quite gnarly now - with humps as big as camals. :-)

Silvers are definitely running. I hooked 3 this past weekend and lost them. Great fighters!

I fished yesterday and caught lots of pinks(and released) but was unable to fight any silvers. There were a ton of cars at the farmers field on Norman road. I didn't walk down there but man it looked crowded. someone must have landed a silver or something.I also tried the Boe road launch. It was low tide and didn't see anything going on there.
