wow, silvers have been weird this year, just dont get it. I went to the stilly today and i started out fly fishing and didnt have a single bite, so i switched to my other rod and threw on an all brass dick nite and i had two hits but no hook ups, so my buddy and i moved up river and i busted out the fly rod again and started to hook into a ton of humpys, and i hooke them all in the mouth, but i cant stand the amount of humpys in the river still, im ready for some silvers. my buddy i went with said this year is weird becaus he was out in the sound catching silvers at 40-50ft down and usually they catch them in the 100-150ft range and just alot of lock jaw this year, but im heading to the snoho tomorrow on my friends jet boat, apparently he hooked up 11 silvers today but only took home 3, good luck all, seems like dick nites and plugs will be the trick this year

we did good, we hooking into 4 of them, but they looked pretty crappy, so we only kept one. it was a 13lb buck. but when i cut it open the meat was white in some spots so i took it to the smoker.....probably the best smoked salmon i have made this season so far

we got them on just a double hook set up, we had one hook on a line and 3 inches from that hook we had another hook and on that hook we had a corky yarn set up with a bait look of some home made cured roe and a glow in the dark corky
