Hit the Cowlitz on sunday..barrier dam to be more specific to try and catch some silvers and maybe play with some dark kings.

Started around 6:25-6:30am and the line had already formed so me and my two buddies squished in at the end of the drift and proceeded to combat fish...and I do mean combat.

I don't know what it is...maybe something in the air or something in the water but from second number one til we left people were being Aholes and anrgy about every little thing...I almost lost my hat and headlamp accidentally hooked my hat on my cast...and the guy just down from us snagged it and was not going to give me my stuff back...almost got into a fight and decided to leave before we ended up throwing people into the river...we did hook into a couple dark kings and just broke em off...saw a couple silvers caught...nice and bright but not worth being around such jerks.

So off the blue creek boat launch...saw a couple steelys caught and some cutt throat but no fish for us....so off to Camelot...saw some nice fish and nice silvers...guides were doing good...we did not.

All in all we fished 5 or 6 spots we have caught fish at before saw fish at all of them but didnt land any.

We tried corkies and yarn...spoons...spinners...eggs under bobbers....ez eggs...scent...didnt matter just wasnt our day.

We really wanted to go check out the skoke but it was blown out...just too much rain....there is always next week though...and it was definatly better than work...although I like to be paid to be around jerks...so i think I'll stay away from barrier

People can make or break your fishing trip, sounds like the people there need to be thown in the river. And what? did that person think that because they snagged your hat they get to keep it, they should just feel good about helping you out. Some people these days.... Oh well, try and have fun fishing!!!!
