Acting on rumors that Triploids had been planted, we put our boat in the lake about 1000. There were several folks on the dock, most of whom fish the lake often and are very familiar with it. They were having negative results. The weather ranged from calm and sunny to windy with horizontal hail. We trolled with various lures (there were three of us) some of these lures are usually very effective, we had negative results. We covered the lake with what is usually a very effective sonar it looks down and left and right. We found no schools of fish, just a few scattered ones laying of the bottom. I fear the Cormorants have cleaned this lake out already.
