How big was your steelhead? I was down at the Cow last Sunday and saw really nice size steelhead caught, around 15#s. It was very frustrating for me since I caught alot of rock fish, didn't land any, just broke my line. I did managed to land 1 small what looks like a carp or maybe whitefish, but no steelhead. We fished cured shrimp, sandshrimp and eggs, nothing. Then we tried spinners and spoons and nada. I did talked with one guide boat and he did mentioned it was very rough trying to catch them. Maybe later in the month it will pick up. Thanks for sharing your report.

12/18/2009 7:37:00 PMthe two fish we caught were around 8 pounds or so but most we saw caught were that size or bigger. all fish were thick. i went out today and didn't land anything but had 6 on just couldn't keep em on. the water was down today so i was fishing about 3 or 4 feet below my bobber. king i've had days like that makes you not want to go fishing then you get a little bump or something and your up for going out tomorrow haha. me and grandpa are gonna be out tomorrow morning until we get out limits

12/18/2009 7:45:00 PMboth our fish were around 8 or 9 pounds. all the fish caught were that size or bigger. all the fish are really thick. i went out today and had 6 fish on bit couldn't land them. had to much slack in my line on a couple hook sets, gotta pay more attention on some of the others haha. the water was down so i was fishing about 3 or 4 feet below my bobber. King i've had days like that man thats to bad makes you not want to go out then you get a bump or catch a goofy fish like tat and then you want to go out the next day haha. me and my grandpa are gonna go out tomorrow. hopefully we get some fish. if anyone on here is gonna be out come talk with me im the dude in either all camo rain gear if it raining or all lamiglas gear if its not.
