Today me and my buddy went out to the Snoqualmie River between the bottom of the falls and the upper boat launch below Tokul Creek. I have fished the river system 2 times before with no luck but wasn't very serious. Today though was different, we casted first lines at 10 after 7 and fished until almost 1 o'clock. We tried everything today, float and jig patterns, vibrax spinners, spoons, and even sand shrimp and we even threw the fly rod for a while. We caught nothing but snags, oh and my buddy caught somebodys broke off jig and line. haha. It was a great day with sunshine and warmer weather than what we have had lately and it is late in the season for steelies i guess, but along with us we must have talked to 6 or 8 other guys and nobody had nothing. Tough Fishin!!!!!

This was a year that the Snoqualmie never heated up the way it should have. Dec a few good ones caught but not much other then that. Hopefully the springers will ease everyones pain of winter steelies. I know Im gonna be targeting them now. Good luck.
