Started the day out under the 277th bridge drifting sand shrimp, caught a 15 inch rainbow on my 2nd cast. Fished for another hour or so without a bite, drifting eather sand shrimp or eggs. I like this place because its one of the few places on the green with no snaggy areas. Anyway, from there I went to the golf course area and had no luck. Moved up to the park in auburn (don't know what its called). Spent hours here fishing several holes an didn't get any takers... decided to go back to the 277th hole... drifted egg and sand shrimp for 20 mins or so without a bite, switched up to a small dick nite and got an 11" and a 13" cutty on my first two casts! Fished it about a half hour more without any bites and called it a day. I really think that if I where able to get out there early morning I'd have better luck.
