went out to test my new master series scientific angler fly line out on the cedar river by the 405 bridge. I fished for the first 2 hours only hooking 3 redhorse suckers all over 4 pounds. I walked up past the renton community center to my favroite hole it took only 12 drifts to nail a beautiful 23 inch summer run steelhead very rare catch on the cedar she was bright too.no color just silver body dark back and spunky I caught her on a large bitch creek style nymph in the fast water... I followed that one up with a nice 12 inch cutt and then another suprise a 24 inch either lake washington rainbow or native rainbow on a large carey special. the last fish which I will add the picture later cause its on my friends camera was a 15 inch white fish I thought they really only hit during the winter. I gave it a 5 cause of the beautiful steel head and rainbow. tight lines everyone

Hope it went back in the river real fast after that pic. Don't take the natives out of the water, especially one as rare as a cedar river steelie!
