Went to the sky today started out with float and jigs didn't have any luck switched to yarn and corky no luck for like 6 hours then I finally got a hit a nice 10 lb Native released very carefully. Then about 5 minute later bam another one eagle tryed to get some dinner but this fish was gone big and strong my line was zipping out with no pause waiting for it to stop and it just kept going and going it had taken out about 60 % of my line before he got free I had just changed out my line the night before it was a full reel. That fish was gone . I stood there in disbelief of how fast and strong that fish was. The one that got away....

Thanks for the report, I read that Steelhead can run 26ft per second. That's amazing.

very nice, i was on the sky as well about a week ago and hooked into a 12lb hatchery brat with a spoon and as soon as i set the hook my line was stripping faster than i have ever seen, and i only had about 60% of a full spool and as soon as i saw metal from my spool threw my line i had to run down the river as fast as i could and you know how big the bolders are there, but luck was on my side that day and i was able to tire him out and land him. and ill tell you these summer runs have lost theyre minds and are just crazy wen you set a hook. good luck on your next trip!!!!!
