15 POUNDS of CHANTERELLES???? SCORE! Oh ya, nice catch with the fish too. I don't have any chanterelle areas, just morels. Been years too. Love having some alder smoked steak or salmon with slices of morels.

How do you get to the river by 522? I was thinking about going to the snoho, but I' m not familiar with the access areas. I tried to get there once, but I got lost and ended up going to the sky instead.

Head to Monroe High School. Take Tester Rd and head all the way down under the 522 and park. Follow trails from there towards river and Good Luck!!!! Google Map the High School and follow the road for a better ideai.....

I was there under the bridge today for a little over an hour. There were maybe 10 people there fishing and I didn't see or talk to anyone who caught a thing.

Wow ...did I read that right ..? 12 foot leader...HHMMMMM think he might have flossed it or should I say snag .....tell me how you cast a 12 foot leader and a 1/2 once ...dont think he was in a boat because sounds like he went to the wallace and snaged some old kings also in the same day...... please dont miss lead people with your lack of fishing skills

YOu cast that long leader with a really long pole. It's not necessary, but these silvers are really hungry, they'll hit spinners followed all the way to shore. A twelve foot leader is perfect for flossing, which I don't do or approve of, but even so, you're not going to be able to floss these fish. They're not holding, they're moving up stream really fast, I fished the Sky a bit back anf=d the fish aren't staying put, so don't even try to floss you're wasting your time. But they will eat your bait actively, so there's absolutely no point. At least from my experience. Thanks for the info on directions! I'm gonna try it out later this week.
