9/22/2010 3:06:00 PMColored fish if you eat 'em quick can turn out decent ;-) I use a little alder wood on the fire and try to put out the flames for a little to get some smoke flavor on them. Thanx for the report!

9/23/2010 5:49:00 AMIt was a # 5 Blue fox, no weight, the fish turned out great, broiled it after lightly marinating in orange juice and white wine, with garlic, salt and pepper, really a great tasting fish(and I eat a fair amount of bright salmon so I can be a pretty good judge of fish quality ,did it commercially for a few years). I didn't see any silvers jumping or any being caught, but they are getting thicker, it's a good time to fish as the tribe isn't fishing this week, although I wouldn't count on that being the case much longer(like maybe next week?).
