I am rating this a 5 because I finally was able to land a coho today after loosing a couple earlier in the season.
I decided to go out and try my luck at fishing this afternoon after being fed up with the hawks game, so I went down to the hwy 9 bridge and fished off of the sandbar. yesterday I saw tons of silvers jumping there but could not get anything to bite. after awile of nothing but tree branches I decided to move up the river. went up to a nice hole that my buddy caught a silver out of a couple weeks ago. On my first cast BAM fish on, great fight, and finally landed it. I was going nuts with excitment. decided to call it a day after that.
The silver was a 12lb hen that had a weekness for a green and silver blue fox spinner.

Congrats on landing a coho Norm. I changegd the rating to a "2" - we're trying to have the rating reflect the acutal fishing, not the experience (which we all agree a day of fishing rates a "5" most times!). The ratings are used to compile historical data hence the reason we did to have them reflect the actual fishing.

Well with the season we are having I'd say catching a 12 pound hen coho is at least a 4 LOL! Understandable though to keep within the catching guidelines I guess. Nice job Norm!

true, that is a darn nice fish. It's harder to rate river and saltwater reports because sometimes it's quality, not quantity. bumped to a 3.
