Thought the cold might keep some people away, but the sunny day seemed to increase the amount of fishermen. Lots of people on the water. Fished from 1pm-4pm. Water low and clear. Threw spoons, spinners, floated jigs, floated pink worms, and even drifted a yarn a corky for a few rounds. Nothing. But I didn't see anything caught either. Beautiful day....and that was about it.

Actually the 2-4 inch pink worms are great for steelhead. Either on a jig head under a float or drift fished on the bottom with a corkie. Gives 'em something different to look at and is a very common set up for steelhead on BC rivers. And it works down here too.

Do pinkworms work for pink salmon?? I think putting on a 2ft pinkworm would get a nice Largie. Then you can say, "I caught you a delicious bass.."
