The fish are locked up in the hatchery and down river. Worked a lot of river, all day, from sultan to just below reiter. Nothing.
Did hook into something under the bridge at the big eddy. Turned into the current and nearly spooled me. Never saw it. as my line got into the back I pointed my rod tip and thumbed it and my line snapped halfway. Maybe it was a fish, but more likely it was a log. Lost most of my line because it snapped in the middle, not at the leader. That was a pain.
The river is dropping, dropped about a foot while I was fishing. But if it warms up, it'll get high again. Walking through Reiter it looked sweet. Saw three fish jump. I really wish it was open.
