Launch at the WDFW access around 7:15 a.m.. About 6 boats already on the water. Some trolling, some still fishing. Second time on these waters for me. I fished in my usual manner trolling the usual offerings of gold and silver glitter. Did real good on bait behind the gear. Then switched to some flat fish setups and did equally well. Released a dozen fish or so and keep one limit of nice fish for the barbecue. Wanted to try out a new recipe of salsa in foil. The lake produced well again for a second time.. Was very hot & sunny. Water temp was still only at 67 degrees. Will try again in the fall.
Glad to get off the lake early as it was getting too hot to be comfortable. Most the other guys were calling it quits also.
