The fishing in Sprague Lake was tremendous! Don't spend a lot of money on this one, all you need is worm, weight and bobber. You will have to find the space of the lake that is best, but definitely launch from the resort (the bathroom usage is worth the $4.00 launch fee alone!)
and the good fishing area is really close to there. 6 people caught 15 Rainbows, size 16" or better, over a period of 4 and a half hours... you do the math. They fought hard, and even made a couple of good 30' runs, stripping line from my reel. One determined Trout raced around and fouled 4 other lines before we could bring it to the net. Please make sure your line is good and your tension is set correctly, we had about 5 break-offs.
