headed out to the river this morning.
started fishing around 5:45am, caught two by 6:30am
so I tried for something better than pinks, but that didnt happen.
come around 7:30am it was started to become a mad house.

people seriously need to learn how to fish, or stay home.
when people are in the water, you dont stand behind them and cast over them.
when people have a fish on, reel in your gear so that you guys dont get tangled up.
when you cast over someone keep your line above theres.
when your fishing the puyallup, your rig shouldn't be treble hooks on a heavy action rod with 50lbs test line.
had to limit out quick and get out of there.
left at 8am
Its common courtesy, learn some sportsmanship skills.

good luck, tight lines

fish and game need to come down the sandbar at the stort.
I guess the new standard in gear for fishing in the puyallup is to have 20 yards of #50 test on your spool with a 10 foot leader, 4oz lead rigged with either a treble hook, or a 4/0 barbed single.
Because I can save money by buying 300yards of #50 test and split that with 15 of my buddies, and we'll stand right behind there fisherman who are in the water and cast right over them. We'll still get into some fish, legal or not, we're having dinner tonight.
dang bastards. LOL

i completely understand what you guys are saying but at the same time why dont you move up river a ways where there arent so many people. And you also went out on a weekend/holiday so you know its gonna be a mad house. Pick your spots right.

@scarlin, why, first of all, we got there first, second there was no room to move to, river was packed. people with lack of courtesy annoy the crap out of me. everyone in the water had two feet of space between each other, so instead of being patient and stay on shore while someone leaves, so that there can be some room, they decide to cast right in between the fisherman on the water. stay off the rivers if you lack any sportsmanship skills. there's unwritten rules that people should follow.
and o, pick a right spot?
people should learn to show others respect
