Started the morning excited to fish salmon creek on teh other side of index off of the north fork sky, with good work from my buddies aunt the road was repaired and pass... his aunt was wrong and were were not about to drive an extra 40 miles around the beckler river to get there, we stopped in index found a place that offered wifi i scoped out our new spot.. then it hit us we have always wanted to fly fish the tolt river system, and when we drove past FS6200 was actually open!! so off the the tolt, after a nice 20 minute rally down the gravel roads it was gated and that was the end of that idea. back to index. after decided we have to at least get our lines wet decided on reliable Onley creek, we arived there about 1030 and fished until 1. we covered the upper section where the road gets steep and the gravel ends. we caught to many to count. only a few over 8" every (like always) was small. but it was a great day on the water and glad to see the water level actually fishable

I bet those fish were purdy! Mostly native or some stocking going on in Olney Creek?

based off the size, i would say there is not stocking on the creek, they all looked "native" non of the obvious signs of stocking
