We don't need any rain. The river is running great. You just gotta learn to feel 'em when your drifting your gear. I was down there at the same time yesterday(8/2/12) and got one fish. There's always fish moving up the river. They have certain times where they move up more frequently, but there are always fish in probably every spot you're fishin. Focus right above where water starts flowing together to form rapids, its considered the "tail out" of the hole above and always has fish sitting somewhere in it. 1/2 oz cannon ball, 4.5ft leader, and corky and yarn. Reading water is probably one of the key factors of fishing.

Nice and true... figuring out where the fish is located is 60% of the fishing... filling the bite (it can be hard to detect sometimes) is 30% and 10% of course is luck.
