First of all, If you have ever read any of my posts before, you know I don't know what the hell I'm doing. I grew up fly fishing for trout. That said:
I hit the Sky yesterday for the first time this season. Saw two fish jump. Caught a few 16" to 19" Sea Runs on a green Dic-Night. Not sure if I set up my rod right. I attached a weight and then a swivel and then tied a 2 to 3 feet of line and then attached my Dic-Night.
Does that sound right? I caught a few and saw no one else having any luck so I must have been doing something right.

I'd go to a 4' leader but other than that sounds like you got the basic setup.. you can use a 6" to 12" leader on your weight to get the spoon to hover up off the bottom, more in the fish zone.. i'm no pro either.. just what works for me..

little early still for good coho numbers, especially in the Sky.
