Fished the soccer fields today and in two hours went 1/4. Laned my first coho just fine but the second broke off by my weight. The next two did the exact same thing even though I upgraded my leader from 10lbs to 12lbs. Sucks! Never had this big problem before. Was using MAXIMA Fluorocarbon. This was my first time using this line. Guess I will switch back to there regular less expensive stuff.

Tight lines!

It's the fluoro carbon, low stretch and more "brittle" than other lines. Should only be used in high visibility situations, which will not be an issue on the puyallup

I second the p-line. I use 10 lb floroclear and it works great. Really strong for its size, and casts very well.

Ditto what Rvr_fshr said. Only use that stuff in clear water and even then beef way up. Thanks for the report.
