I'll rate it a two even though I didn't land anything. Went 0/1 on my lunch break. Clouds cleared up just as I got to the river at noon....Man!, was looking forward to that cloud cover. Now it's bright and sunny. More people fishing today than yesterday. Water has lost what little color it developed over the last few days. Tide was still going out. Talked to a couple guys who said it was dead. I started up above the main hole and think I had a hit on my second cast (jig), but guess it could have been a rock....those rocks are tricky that way.
A spot down lower cleared out, so I moved down river. 30 minutes seems to be my golden moment as right at 30 minutes of fishing, I'd casted upriver behind a swirl in the water and after the initial drop I took up the slack and it was stuck solid...thought for sure I'd dropped it behind a rock. I gave it a yank and it started shaking it's head.....told you those rocks are tricky that way....still wasn't quite believing it was a fish at this point as it really wasn't moving anywhere. The moment I was convinced was when the line started peeling off the reel. A couple second later I turned him and he stopped out in the current. Here is where I made my mistake. I decided to step back and grab the net, so it'd be close at hand. Guess I should have played the fish first for as as I was reaching down behind me, the tension on the rod let out and I saw that the fish was running right at me. I got to reeling fast and furious to take up the slack and just about the time I did the fish did an arial. He turned and made another run and it didn't take long before my jig came unbuttoned. 'DOH. Nice sized fish. Didn't get a good look at the arial, but it had some weight to it. Another lesson....tire'em out before taking your hand off the reel. Fished for another 30 minutes without seeing any more action.
Did meet a fellow WA.laker. TLang I think he said. Nice chatting with you and maybe I'll run into you again.
Tight lines everyone.

Fishin down by 112th?
I'm still tryin to figure out the tides.
It seems to me that the best time to go after them is half way between high tide and Low tide.
Am I correct in that assessment?
Second ?: No Jumping fish = dead area?
I can catch trout until I'm blue in the face, salmon are another story.
