12/31/2012 2:47:00 PMGwendylyn - There is steelhead on the green to be had , just not like all the other rivers but there is , you might want to try down lower in the car body hole or up higher past flaming gyser this time of year . How did the chum I gave you and your Giant Ginger under hwy - 18 that day turn out on the smoker ? and thanks again for the jig you gave me , its still waiting to be broken in !

I was a little worried that we wouldn't like chum because of all the trash people has talked about it being garbage but I actually liked it more than what we've had before. I'm not crazy about super fishy tasting fish (prefer cod or halibut). It was mild & baked up very nicely with garlic, ginger & s&p.
I hope I put enough mojo in the jig you picked lol! My tying skills have gotten a bit better with practice. If we run into you again, I'll be sure to send some new stock with you to test =)
