Stopped at the Sultan. Fished the Sultan. Stopped at the Wallace. Left the Wallace. Stopped at the Sky...

Started with jigs (got bored). Fished drift gear (snagged). Threw on my favorite spoon and unleashed the metal head inside of me and...

Bingo! I've caught 80% of my Steelhead this year on spoon, and this by far has been the most subtle "bite" if you will. Sometimes it feels like a snag, other times it's a socket wrenching strike. At other times it's a miss, bite and take.

This felt like it put it's mouth on my spoon, and sat back down on the bottom EVER so gently.

Oh well, back to basics; this hen decided to come home with me and check out the dimensions of my freezer.

Tight Lines!

Spoons are a great Steelhead lure. Great for Big Nates Too! Usually the action of the lure just stops when the Fish picks it up. Great lure for those of us that dont care to stare at a bobber all day.
