First off I want to thank the three D horns that walked right in front of me this morning on the mid section of the river. The reason I got there before you wasn't so I could let you go through the drift first. It was so I could. What happened to fisherman etiquette? Why don't you go back up to Reiter pond or Tokul where you belong with the rest of your kind. Sorry about the rant, but geez!
So the one guy that stepped in front of me and wouldn't move through the drift hooked one right away. Although he didn't realize it. He thought he was hung up and with enough jerking it came off. One of the other guys caught one after a few more casts. Rub salt in my wound I guess. They are probably still standing there.
I had to walk around them and they looked at me like I was the jerk. I continued downstream and hooked a dolly that I let go and that was it. River was in good shape. Probably holding more fish, but I went through it all faster than I should of.

Unfortunately there are always D horns. I was fishing sherman yesterday hooked and lost a steely by the way. I was fishing in the nice narrow riffle against the far bank with my two buddys. We pretty much laid claim on the slot, but that didn't stop some dude setting up way up stream and letting his float drift 40 yards down stream with a trout rod and cock block the entire slot. I got tired of it after about 3 cast and started casting over his line. He got the point. I dubbed his nickname Yukon Cornelius, from Rudolph. Big bushy red stache! kinda funny. Descent guy to talk to.

Well let me start by saying if your going to rant you should tell the whole story. When we walked to the river you were about 100-200 yds up river where we entered. So we walked down stream about 1000 yds and started fishing. I took my father and my brother who haven't river fished so I wanted to be away fr crowds and jacka**es. I guess there was one on the river that day. I guess you should of put out the memo that everyone should of stayed off the river that day until you have finished fishing. We were fishing for about 30 minutes prior to you arriving at the hole, so tough beans. Put on your big boy waders next time and realize that others fish the river not just you. I have fished the Wallace for over 15 years and lots of people now fish the river. If you wanted to throw your spoon through the hole just ask we would have let you. It sucks when people read your post and call you on it but next time come clean.

You aren't the guys I'm talking about. They were no 200 yds or 1000 yds.

Glad you got to go fishing with your Dad though. You sure miss that when you can't anymore. I know I do.
