got to the river at like ten am. not alot of people. some had some fish. i lost one, and got one. about 4 lb hen. sea lice on her. orange corkey, pink yarn. i saw two guys with their limit (4). i ordered a large canner last night. planning on canning up a bunch of these pinks. they seem way better canned, then fresh. i heard the bay is super slow. normally, august 18th is when the pinks arrive in force. my experience anyway, the last several runs...when they come in good, ill switch to my trout settup.

Where the that orange corkie is, suggests that it may have been foul hooked. I could be wrong though. Nice fish anyhow.

Fishindude,
Check the pink yarn in the corner of the mouth. Might wanna look a little harder next time before jumping a report. Seems like everyone wants to be "that guy"

Thanks for the advice on looking harder however, I did see the pink yarn in the mouth. I also saw more...Like the the corkie on the belly and tackle/line all over the bank. Yeah, most people want to promote ethical and lawful fishing here, or in your words be "that guy".

Not foul hooked, but has to be the Puyallup with all that garbage. Too bad, lots of fish and great opportunity, just not for me.

Not sure why people read reports looking for something smart to say. Generally everyone i've met on this site are nice and play by the rules. I believe a lot of people are barking up the wrong tree. Your going to have people not want to post. BTW I don't think he hooked him at all... I think he bonked him with a rock and netted him.

" I also saw more...Like the the corkie on the belly...".....You're joking, right? I know you're new to river fishing, but you do realize that unless pegged, corkies have the ability to slide freely up and down the leader?

Nice fish Rob, thanks for the report, sorry for the troll.

I would expect to be corrected if I was wrong so thank you all. It appears that I was. My appologies Rob W.

Hate to say it, but a lot of the people are flossing the fish anyway....especially when you see 8 foot to 12 foot leader.

Hey here's a tip.. Get some toothpicks for your corkies. Insert it through the top and break it off.. It works really well against ur sliding corkie. Don't want miss a hit because ur corkie was inches away from ur hook lol
