Fished today for the derby and fun.. there were moments of fish flopping all over and some catching and then moments of dead silent water.. we still manged 3 toour boat and lost a few. 1 of the fish was a good sized buck that gave my kid a good battle.. super stoked on that one! the fishing died down something fierce around 11 or noon and we lazily fished a while longer before heading to the derby to weigh in the fish..

My kid walked away from the derby with a mystery fish prize of $250!! he's gonna buy a big badass lego set with some of it he said.. :) and then he won a raffle prize.. man, it was his lucky day!!! hope his luck goes into tomorrow when we're out again!

fun day fishing with steelheadin and bluerock, other friends and my kid.. I would come back to this place for sure :P
