9/29/2013 8:10:00 AMNice fish! The picture makes it slightly difficult for me to tell, but the fishes tail is going to be the easiest way for you to differentiate the two. Silver, will have very little to no spots and only at the upper part of the tail. While a Chinook, will have much larger spots all over its tail. Does kind of look like a silver to me but hey, you let a native fish go! nothing wrong with that.
