Took my dad out again today with hopes of getting him into some more fish. Made 4 passes and did not touch a fish so im thinking its going to be another slow day. I decided to switch up and try a flat fish out for the first time. As im letting it out my dads pole gets slammed and we have the first silver in the boat. Get set back up and I get 2 nice bucks to slam my flatfish as we start the troll both times. One was a great fight as it jumped around then shot straight for the boat. Im trying to real the slack as fast as I can and see it torpedo past the boat then shoot to the other side. After that excitment it died down again for awile until we decided to make one more pass and at the end of the troll my dads rod gets slammed and we get his last fish in. All in all it wasnt a bad day with 4 nice silvers, but we really had to work for them at times. Good luck
