I got off work early and just happened to have my gear in the car, so I snuck down to the river on the way home. This time I started with bobber but no takers. I didn't see any fish rolling. I switched to swinging a jig. After a couple casts, I got a short strike, so I knew it was only a matter of time before I hooked up. Then I got bit. The fish was a little scared up from nets, but good enough for me. Unfortunately, when I was bleeding the fish I saw a guy basically racing down to where I was fishing. I only made a couple casts before he was in my hole. As soon as I saw the 10 ft leader, I grabbed my fish and took off. I hit a couple other spots on the way back to my car but no takers.

Nice fish! I m fairly new to the area and still looking for good spots on the rivers,lakes and salt water if you could give some good areas and lakes that would be great. I got a few pinks from the Puyallup and Green rivers, but haven't fished any other rivers,lakes or salt. I m 49 love to fish and hunt but in need of buddies and info, got gear and guns but no boat. If you or anyone can help me out that would be great! Thanks in advance!
