11/25/2013 2:47:00 AMrethink which person were you? i'm hardly a lucky charm. i was also on a 3 week skunk. i doubled my career coho intake in one day and the chum was the second ever caught, first to be able to keep. i'll probably be someplace on the green later this week. hard to leave a good hole but would be nice to have alternative places to stop. be nice if i could catch em way further downstream closer to my house tho.

11/27/2013 1:43:00 PMCurrently, I am in Minnesota. I guess if I was serious about my fishing, I would jump out on the ice frozen lakes, cut a hole and toss in my line. I hear the fishing here is excellent, because the mosquitoes are big and numerous, once the snow melts. Must be walleye in them ponds. I plan to take the Steelhead seminar at 3 rivers marine in Woodinville on Dec 7th. I am waiting out the Chum. I caught way too many zombie pinks, and the chum don't look much better. Steelhead, however do wet my appetite for fishing. Not sure the regulations and rivers to catch and keep. we should meet up sometime, and say goodbye to the skunks and hello to the steelies! 1/4/2014 12:50:00 PMNot trying to be negative, but..... The fish pictured on the right looks like a chinook to me with the black gums/tongue. Doesn't appear to have a spotted tail however, so I can't say for sure either way. If unsure of the identification of species always refer to your fishing regulations pamphlet, as opposed to what fellow fisherman advise. Chinook salmon are listed as an endangered species, and are illegal to retain throughout the green/duwamish system. Any person caught with one of these fish can see jail time, thousands in fees, confiscation of gear/vehicles, and revocation of license privileges. Not harking on you in particular; just a reminder for all those who utilize this fantastic waterway. Tight lines and great luck!

1/5/2014 7:01:00 AMsorry, I have to disagree, those are clearly white gum lines on both fish. I think you're confusing the inside of the mouth vs. the gum line which is white.
