Fished the Clearwater with some of my business partners yesterday and boy did we have a great day. We started out the morning on the lower Clearwater River back trolling divers and eggs, but after a few hours of nothing we made the switch and ran up river to some deep water and started back bouncing. It was a great move! We ended up hooking 8-9 fish in about an hour and had our limit filled within that time and were headed back to the boat launch with a limit of spring Chinook at 10:30 am. I cant think of a better way to spend a morning fishing! We even had a Clearwater Spring Chinook Double to finish the day!
