Pretty decent opener this morning. Hit the river with my sister in search of early silvers. Started out slow, I landed a king and a cutthroat. An hour and a half into the incoming tide, a switch was turned on as we proceeded to hook into the silvers. I landed two and lost two right at the shore. Wiffed on a few other solid takes. My sister landed two as well, and lost a couple as well. Left a little after 8am. Seen a few fish rolling, but not too much surface activity. Didn't see any other fish hooked or landed.

Oh yesssss! Thank you for the report. This already looks like a promising return of silvers to the rivers! Nice job and great catch. Tight lines !

Yes looks great...nice looking silvers. I wont be able to hit the river till Thursday. My dad and uncle were out in our boat this morning but haven't heard from them yet to see how they did. I am still stuck at work. Thanks for the report. Sure gets me pumped for Thursday.

Nice one losaturn, they do look a bit small but very nice and bright :). Was that your usual spot with float 'n eggs? I moved to Renton area very recently so hoping to talk Mrs into letting me get license 'n get after some local Duw/Greem coho next couple months :P. Think I got out all of 3 times last year for pinks and forgot to turn in crab catch card cuz I never used it (oops) but did get salmon card in at least. Still don't even have a license yet and am working (the joy of buying a newer house).

Thx for building a little cabin fever in the working man on Labor Day LOL. Have fun and continued good luck!

Right on losaturn. Didn't expect to see much in the way of positive reports on opening day. I think you are setting the bar high. LOL.
