Beautiful sunrise saturday morning,well from my house,anyways didnt get to the river as early as i wanted but me and my gf were fishing by 830 ,she had a 1/4 oz pink jig with black and a partial pink worm,i was tossing size 3,4,5 blue foxes and some 3/8-5/8 spoons, and we also tried twitching jigs and i was checkin this log out and casted right upriver inches of it thinkin theres gotta be one in there, and bam i feel a fish in a few seconds and feels like a jack or small fish so hand the pole to my gf and turns out to be a 12' cutthroat.it was a pretty fish, it swam away strong after attacking my 3/8 jig.Didnt see any coho but its a matter of time before were gettin limits.
