My Father, a friend, and I went to Loon to hook up some Lake trout or brookstock bows. I've never seen so many fish signals on our Lowrance. We were very enthusiastic, but as time went on and we had only two strikes after 5 hours, we felt beaten and tired. We could not figure out this lake. If some have they must absolutely love this lake because it is choked full of fish with big signals on the depth finder.
I did have several strikes on a double whammy but I wasn't interested in kokonee that day. I had a small strike on a silver dick nite and a monster strike on a jenny fly. Flat fish didn't do a thing even with a little bit of pike minnow tied on.
