I am new to this site so bare with the rookie.
I recently went on the Spokane river near riverside state park and caught 4 epic fish in 3 days recently. I caught 2 walleye over 20 inches and 1 large mouth about 3 pounds and a BIGGIN' 7.2 LB small mouth bass. ....CRAZINESS!

Congrats. That would be an awesome fish to have on the end of the line, then in the boat. I can image how good it felt to watch a fish that old swim away afterwords.

I thought the river was closed to fishing from Plese flats to Idaho border due to low (warm) water.

Also, be careful what equipment you use. Many restricted areas.

nice catch! you were west of plese flats?
the rest of the river is under hoot owl restriction, fishing between 12am-2pm only
I have found those spinners work great at the deep section of the river at Mirabeau park as well
