Fished the Snohomish this morning. God blessed with 5 fish landed and lost 2. Numerous bites added to the fun. Kept the 2 hens I caught and released the 3 bucks. Used Elgin fishing God's tooth spoons with pink/nickel and 50/50 gold set on slow action. Saw a boat with 4 folks catch about 8. Water clarity was not too bad considering the rains we have had. Wishing all tight lines!

Hi Bassbuzzer, I appreciate the humor. We all know humpy eggs make the best caviar :)
Thanks for the informative reports you post, I appreciate them.

Hi Fish-On, I am normally using a weight of 1/8 to 1/4 oz depending on current and depth. The set up I used was a 1/8 oz bass casting sinker attached to a clip but can also use a snap swivel. The weight is free to slide up and down the line and stops at a bead which is in front of a swivel attached to a 4ft leader. I have also used just split shot and those sinkers with rubber in them (more of an inline sinker) with great results. I just wanted to try something different. I then just reel slow keeping the spoon just above the bottom with an occasional twitch.
