Went fishing today at the concrete launch from a sled. It was raining hard, the river was way up and not many fish in the river had to work hard. Heard from some friends that they got three below the ramp at the sand bar back edie and we saw probably four fish jump the whole day, didn't see anything down below the three bumps and below so we ran up about two miles to a big back edie one boat got one but the river was rising and the bank made the hole too silted to see three inches. On out way back to the tamp we stoped in a little backwater and saw two role right away I had on a 3/8 ounce pink jig head on with a pink body and nailed 4 almost in in hour. We had two people throwing jigs and I was throwing a pink jig and he was throwing a blue and black I had 4 to my dads 0. I think that was because the water was not that clear and his was a dark jig and mine was a bright so they were aggressive to the pink instead of the dark. We ended the day with four nice semi bright cohos not good not bad. Thinking that the river will be out of shape for the next three days if it doesn't rain.
