Me and a buddy hit a nice little glacier fed lake with some 8"-13" GOLDENS in it. heck of a hike though. just over 12 hours to get up there and back. we spent 2 hours at the water and between the two of us caught somewhere between 50-75 of the beauties. first half of the hike was easy, relatively flat but the calm definitely came before the storm. the second half of the hike had no trail. Bushwacking in every sense of the word. Viney brush twice as tall as a 6' man. then about a mile of rock hopping, or should I say mountain goating it. The last half mile down into the lake was the most beautiful sight I have ever seen. blue crystal water. I'd like to find another lake that has those 14k beauties in it.
