As the name suggests this lake has a few turtles in it. But the real target is the 16 to 20 inch brook trout. It is a murky shallow lake at 15 feet. But the real secret is a 4" rappler that had the brooks jumping to get it. I had 16 fish in two hours and all the brooks were 16+. I had 1 rainbow at 5". I was casting around large loges the reached into deep water. They would come out the fist cast but would only bump it and when I started casting back to back I was getting bits and hooks. I won't tell my best friends about this spot but i found this works on most small lakes with murky water. Just not as well.
