this is actually a report for just north of the border in bc. fished for about 3 hours thursday in about 15-20 feet of water along a fairly steep dropoff. landed 2 rainbows , one 12 inches the other about 14 as well as 7 squawfish that will make the next coyote that wanders by very happy :) used a black wooly bugger tied on a 1/32 ounce jig tipped with a peice of worm. also tried jigging a spoon with no luck. 16 inches of flood ice with no overflow temps in the low teens

my spot is a secret because a 30 acre lake with 15 pound rainbows would get fished out in a hearbeat, and sharing is exactly what i did, i told you how i caught the fish and what conditions i caught them under

Thanx's for the report Baconlover......I told some friends at work about one of my secret spots and by the end of the summer, I couldn't find a place to park there.........my mistake was bringing pictures of the fish to work. 5 trout the smallest was 1 1/2 lbs. the largest 4lbs. and a local pond!! Squawfish make good crawfish bait.
