Still finding water temps at 45*. Actually spooked one today though! Started structure fishing on steeper drop offs working my way all the way to shore fishing every type of cover I could find. Never got touched. Multiple techniques but diminishing patience though so I am catching myself fishing too fast. Worst start to a season in 10 years personally.... this may be the first March I've been skunked in since I started truly 'fishing' in March! Grrrr

Only this coming weekend to get it done or it will be April before I boat a largemouth and that's just plain ridiculous lol

I've only been fishing once this March. Zero days in Dec. 2 in Jan, 3 in Feb. Only 1 crappie, and 1 perch Jan. 26th. But I did see 2 fish in Feb, one a smallie about 1 1/2 lb coming out to get my crankbait, but saw the boat and turned off. And a 2 pounder, maybe a trout, that seemed to come out from under a dock after the same crankbait. Saw the boat and left. I only saw the fish after it turned and showed the side sightly and a black bar down the back edge of the tail.So no Bass this winter. I'm getting cabin fever again, been thinking of going fishing in the rain, and I hate fishing in the rain, and wind. Sun just came out, but too late to go now.

I can't help but get out in February anymore but have yet to crack that code? Worst March in years so far but I also don't have the time I used to. I live for fishing rainy days, for too many reasons to list!

Nada for me too. I think we are a month late plus this year. I am trying Lake Washington this weekend. Maybe a deep bite. I have been fishing for Sea-run Cutthroat in the sound instead this March out of desperation to catch something. Hopefully they will go crazy once it turns, right??

My smallie spot won't be fishable for months with the snowpack and rainfall we're having since it's a raging river until that dies down. I'm probably a few weeks yet from going after largies for my first attempt of 2017. Love seeing these posts though.
