8/8/2011 9:53:00 AMThanks for the report, we had thought about going down but a call to Tackle Time stopped that ! I'm not going out 5-6 miles for fish ! We will be down in a couple of weeks for 5 days, hope to have some good reports.

I started to realize everything i post on here is about how i didnt catch any fish, so why break a trend.
Went to Ilwaco for the weekend do troll around looking for some Kings. Nothing doing, again!! lol
Used deep six in 30'-80' of water from bouys 9 to the bridge. Lots of bait fish in the river, lots of seals, but very little salmon. The guys going out into the ocean were hooking up but they were out in the cooler water, 13 miles out or so (to far for my little 16 ft'er to go). Did see a few pulled in off a smaller silver deep six w/ 3' leader and an anchovie with a really slow roll. Should be hot in a week or two when they move into the river.
