Hit the shore this morning at about 7:00 with a buddy and 2 kids. Was busy getting the kids up and running and missed a few good takes right off the get go. Got excited but the bite soon died off with only one fish to the shore and he was lost by horsing him in. Took awhile for the next hook up and got it to the shore at 17 inches. It was very consistent at 2 1/2 hours per fish for a total of 4 before we left. Kids lost interest and bailed early to play at the park. My buddy was skunked so I felt pretty good about my fish I had worked for. Smallest was 16" and largest was 19".
Ran chartreuse power bait 20" off the bottom for all fish. My buddy would not give up on the worm and only had 3 small nibbles.
Saw seveal others on the shore but did not see anyone pull anything in around us. Tons of boat traffic. Have to wonder how they were doing further out?

Where were you fishing at? Further out in my boat, launched at lincoln, wasn't much better. Good to hear at least the shore fishers were hooking a few.

We were just past the bridge at two rivers.
This is the first year I have tried winter fishing. Usually fishing at local Spokane lakes in the summer. These fish seemed huge in comparison to what I am used to. I will surely be back to try it again.

We were in a boat out there Friday. You can read my report from that day. I rated it a 3 as well
