Reports have been hit and miss for rainbows at Roosevelt this year but i thought i would give it a try.Got to Fort Spokane sunday morning and was unable to launch ramp was way to slick for my larger heavy boat so i headed to seven bays and lauched with no problem headed down river to Sterling point got my poles in the water about 9:30. Started trolling jointed perch J11 and orange jointed J9 and a husky Jerk f9 all with magots only got 1 Fish in one of the coves closer to shore so we headed down river.we switch to worms on front hook and hooked up 3 bigger ones right away. The eagles above us were squawking like hey those are our fish it was just after those three it died off it was about 11:00am so we packed it in.We had a great day sun was out and able to fish without heater on in January. Can't wait going back down this Sat further down river will be sure to let you know how we did.. Thanks for all the reports on here
