We spent the weekend down on Roosevelt hunting birds and fishing for burbots. Had birds flying most of the morning both days, the weather was cooooold. Started fishing about noon both days and fished for 2 and half hours and caught over 20 Burbot on Saturday. We kept a few to eat and returned the rest to grow bigger. Biggest fish was 6 1/2 lbs Caught most fish in deeper water. We fished/hunted Sunday out of Porcupine Bay and caught and released over 50 Burbot between 5 of us most in the 3-4lb range. Got 1 gooses and 3 ducks in a couple hours of hunting as well, but was more of a fishing day. If anyone wants to fish for these fish get ahold of me.
