I have yet to figure out how they can hit a Rapala full of razor sharp treble hooks and not get hooked...must be one of those fishing mysteries?

1/24/2014 6:56:00 AMHey CharlieH, I've done my best from the bank with size 4 hooks, 3-6 foot six pound leaders. I use a slip sinker & run a slack line. They can be very shy biters if they feel any tension. Thus, the slack line. I hang a strike indicator on my slack line between the eyes on my pole. I usually end up with fish swallowing the bait. They are hooked before they feel any tension.
